RAP Project thanks all of our Work Experience team this past year. We look forward to welcoming new members of our team in 2016. Happy New Year!

Welcome to RAP Chat, The RAP Project’s newsletter. We are still working but looking forward to some time off over the holiday season.

Deana and Allison are very proud to say that they are now in over 90 schools throughout the UK and have reached over 12,000 students. Having said that, Deana will be bringing The RAP Project abroad for the very first time in January 2016 when she speaks to students in Bermuda.

One of the RAP Project presentations that has gained popularity this past year has been our ‘Altered, Airbrushed and Unrealistic’ Body Image talk.

Initially, we designed this solely for a female audience, but realised that young men are now also facing similar issues and in equal need of a reality check with body image and the media.

One other massive project we are undertaking with the help of our amazing interns is a Teenage Survey asking 5000 students between 13 and 18 years old specific questions about consent, alcohol and pornography. We will have a report out on this next term.

We are also very excited about our book due out in Autumn 2016.

We wish all of the parents, teachers and students a wonderful New Year. Thank you for your continued support of The Rap Project.

Happy Holidays!
